A fun morning for some of our staff and families participating in the annual City to Surf run.

Book Week Parade


Students in years 1 to 6 displayed their book week character in a special morning assembly on Friday 26 August 2016.  We had a diverse range of characters walk the “catwalk” for  our parents, families, carers, teachers and friends.  An enjoyable morning was had by all!  Visit our gallery page for photo’s from the parade.

On Thursday 27th August the whole school participated in our SMARTS Day. Children rotated through 5 different activities they had chosen out of a possible 18 activities based on their Multiple Intelligences / SMARTS.

Google Doodle Competition

Swimming Lessons


Swimming is an imperative life skill and a part of the Hawker Park Primary curriculum.  We were happy to see our students brave the winter weather (in a heated pool) and have great success at our in-term swimming lessons. Well done everyone and thanks to our parents for packing and unpacking that swimming bag each day.

ECE School Open Day

We had an Early Childhood School Open Day this year on Wednesday 17 June 2015, from 9.30am until 10.30am for prospective parents. The early childhood classrooms were open and teachers were available to answer questions about Hawker Park Primary School.

New Dinghy in ECE


On 7th March, Pre-primary parents and children installed a wonderful little dinghy into our grounds which has been the source of endless pleasure! It was painted and donated by Jake, an ex-student, now completing his own high school studies.
